It's a BOY!

Ever since we told people we were pregnant, it's felt like a battle with the whole boy/girl thing. It's no secret that every man wants a first boy son. While still practiced in countries today, the birth right goes back to days of the bible.

And there's definitely no secret that I wanted a boy. It's always been my dream to have a junior and it seems the more I wanted the baby to be a boy...the more others wanted it to be a girl. So when we popped into the doctors office to get a sonogram last week, the tech was confused because we weren't scheduled for another sonogram for another month. I think I shocked her even more with the first words out of mouth, telling her, "number one goal for the day, find me a wiener!"

Didn't take long. This was the first pic she took with about ten seconds of searching.

Sweet justice! I was a proud dad to announce to the world and squash the debate... finally.

On another note, aren't these just great for a baby announcement?
